me too, terrible to “chat” to global consolidation, Zhongshan, I also purchased 3 items. DHL Express blamed Zhongshan didn’t requested a “proof of delivery” or “require proof of signature” so the driver just left my package at my front door in crowded street, not even bother to hide it… and the consequence of that action, someone stolen it.

Now Zhongshan ask me to prove that I have paid for the items I ordered at Taobao forward to them. I gave my order number from Taoboa and the reference number from DHL that concluded it was stolen… I have a gut feeling Zhongshan won’t even bother reimburse me! Will give a run around. Guess I will have to claim with my CC company.
I think chinese forwarding service is terrible. I used many time a japanese forwarding… They do the purchase for you and send a picture of all the items to be send and a picture of the outside of the parcel. I got nothing of the sort from Taobao global consolidation.
Also the japanese forwarding will let you choose how fast or slow transit, and alway a required signature… Yeah, Zhongshan/DHL was able to send to me within 4 days or 2 business days from China to North America but never bother select a “signature required”.

Here my following up about the stolen parcel delivered by DHL Express International to Canada.

DHL Express International refused to refund since they blamed that the sender didn’t requested a proof a signature, their term (NSR – NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED) so they can leave a “big box’ parcel unattended on the front porch,…, the driver did not even bother to hide it on a crowded street.

The Taobao’s 2nd level refused to refund me the total amount, as an excuses, DHL have marked as “Delivered”, so it’s not their problem if I didn’t got my parcel as intended.
I contact many time Zhongshan EMS, they refused to do anything, keep saying, it is the “aftermarket sale” that is responsible to made the refund, not THEM.
And the Mastercard can’t do anything since the payment has already made, Mastercard said they can’t force the merchant to refund.

Then, something not right either about the judgment made by Taobao’s 2nd level.
Short story, to made a claim, Taobao request you/me to made a claim of each every item, not by merchant.
On INEXPENSIVE item, Taobao’s 2nd level said “refund approved since I didn’t received the goods” BUT on EXPENSIVE/$$$ items, sorry “refund not approved since it marked as delivered”.

It was a consolidated delivery, all bought items sent in the same parcel that was not delivered to me !!!
So why am I getting a 30% partial refund? Taobao’s 2nd level judgments are not based whether the client did not received the parcel but on the amount their are willing to refund. Just to let you know, only items less than $16cad were refund but not the one over $16, and no refund on the shipping fee either that I paid for, that is $56cad.

I need help.
My ordered was delivered to Canada by DHL Express but the problem is, I didn’t received it.
I called DHL, DHL confirmed that the address was all good.
I checked the “Get Signature Proof of Delivery”, the field for “signed by” was left empty, no mention as “left at front door, etc”, it specifically showed as “Delivered today at 15:32”. The DHL’s agent on the phone said, empty field was normal since they said the sender didn’t requested a proof of delivery… So why am I having the “Delivered – Signed for by” confirmation? It’s hard to believe that the Taobao warehouse didn’t request a proof of delivery since my parcel cost over $200cad. And It is unbelievable the DHL left a big box at my front door on crowded street… I don’t get often DHL deliveries but I do remembered, If no one was home, usually they bring the parcel back to their service point, ready to pick-up.

I don’t know how to contact Taoboa warehouse or the 3 sellers… to file a claim with DHL… What happened if my parcel weren’t insured, my guess, since the parcel didn’t require a proof of delivery as the agent said ?
I lose everything?
