Hi Eric!

I want to buy some keychains but the materials say it is zinc alloy and “glass”. I don’t think it is very fragile glass though. It could be clear plastic. I think the only way to damage the item is if someone deliberately wants to. The store also usually uses protective bubble wrapping and packaging. I will be buying the keychains along with other items, so most likely it will be in a box too.

Do you think it may be rejected by the forwarding warehouse?

These are the keychains I want to buy:

Hi Eric!

I want to get this keychain. It says it is a “quicksand” acrylic keychain, so there is glitter that swishes around inside the keychain. This won’t count as a prohibited item, right? I am not sure if items with “quicksand” in them are allowed to be shipped.

Here is the link for the keychain:

Comment on Taobao International Shipping: Everything You Need To Know

Hi Eric!
I am a bit confused about the current volume restrictions for packages going to Canada. I just checked the “什么是官方集运?” page and it seems like Canada, Australia, and New Zealand currently have the same volume restrictions? I used Google Translate to check. Am I understanding the information correctly? Here is the link for where I found the information. https://world.taobao.com/helper/knowledge.htm?kid=11034579

However, I do not see a volume restriction for Canada on the “加拿大官方物流价格及材积限制” page from this link here https://world.taobao.com/helper/knowledge.htm?spm=a312a.7762693.2015080302.6.qRsGbP&kid=20459965

It only states the new pricing of 130 RMB for the first 0.5kg and 68 RMB after that.

Can you please clarify the current restrictions and prices for packages heading to Canada?

Thank you!

Comment on How To Buy Directly From Taobao:The Complete Guide

Hi again, Eric!

I forgot to ask if it was possible to ask the forwarding warehouse to check if all 20 of my items were shipped to the warehouse. I want to make sure they have everything before paying and having them ship my package.

Do I use aliwangwang to contact them? The little blue button next to 集运操作咨询?

Thank you,
Coco

Comment on How To Buy Directly From Taobao:The Complete Guide

Hi there!

I live in Canada and I was wondering if it is possible to ask the warehouse to repackage my items into one box? I am also wondering if that would cost a fee. I don’t mind paying for that because the volumetric weight of all my packages exceeds their actual weight by a lot. One of my packages is only 0.495kg but the volumetric weight is 2.1kg. I have 3 packages in total.

If possible, I want to combine the items of all my packages together into one box so that the shipping can cost less.

In total, I have 20 items, so it should be possible?

I am using Taobao’s official forwarding service.

Thank you,
Coco
